Kensington Gardens

Part of Hyde Park until 1689. Kensington Gardens covers 111 hectares of tree lined avenues with Kensington Palace as the centre piece.

 

The royal park contains statues such as the famous ‘boy who refused to grow up’ Peter Pan, the Princess of Wales' Memorial adventure playground for under 12s, ornate Italian gardens and a contemporary art gallery. Giving visitors the chance to perhaps do more than relax and enjoy charming surroundings.

Opening hours:

The park is open from 6am to dusk all year round.
