A section of the Metropolitan Police force, the Safer Neighbourhood Teams are out on patrol in your neighbourhood, engaging with the community and identifying crimes and issues which have been deemed to cause you most concern.

Comprising  of one police sergeant, two police constables and three police community support officers. Their role is to tackle anti-social behaviour, crime and increase visibility and safety in the borough and on the borough's public transport system.

Safer Neighbourhoods teams are not there to provide a 24-hour response in the case of an emergency always dial 999.
